THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD
Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: EPHESIANS 6:11-17
Loin's gird about with truth: Area between knees and waist. Clothed for protection and modesty's sake, also meaning reproduction organs. Simply means, the producing of the truth of God's word in a modest, morally way; in the life's of yourself and other's.
Feet shod with the gospel of peace: This means we are to keep the peace which God has given us through his son. For in peace we have our joy and in our joy, we have our understanding. Bringing the gospel to the world!
Breastplate of Righteousness: Metal or leather used to protect the vital
organs (the heart). Protecting the righteousness that is in your heart from the evil that the world brings forth on a daily basis.
Shield of Faith: Used to block a blow from an opposing attack. This spiritual shield is used to block all wicked attacks, temptations, worries of fear, oppressing problems, people who attack in word or action, demonic afflictions, addictions, ect... These are of that, the Enemy will fire your way as a believer.
Helmet of Salvation: The helmet is used to protect the head and brain from internal and external wounds. We use our spiritual helmet to protect our minds from unwanted and ungodly attacks from the enemy.
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; EPHESIANS 6:18
