I was born in Houston, Tx. in the late 70's. My parents had 3 boys and I was the youngest of the three. In those days my Dad and uncles were heavy into country music. Playing, singing and writing music. With that lifestyle, came lots of alcohol and some drug activity. My Mother did not partake in those activities.

During those days my Dad would get drunk, and he would get very mean. He would verbally and physically abuse my Mother and sometimes us boys. Sometimes to the point that knives and guns would be involved. Praise the Lord nobody lost their life’s.

 

Fast Forward to the end of 1989. My once abusive Father is now a clean ordained minister in the working. We are not only shocked but amazed how

God can take the worst of creatures and use them for his Glory!

He has quit drinking, smoking, cursing, playing secular music and chasing after women all in 1 day. Surprising, I know!

 

Now in 1990, I decided to go with him to an R. W. Schambach Tent Revival. That night at the age of 12, I not only gave my life to the Lord Jesus, but was slain in the Spirit of God and spoke in an unknown tongue, just like in the bible. I had absolutely no control over my actions whatsoever, and there is NO WAY I could have faked any of that! I was just a kid. Once I awakened, I was so filled with a love from Jesus, that I cannot explain the power of it. I remember on the wat home and looking at 2 prostitutes at a street corner in Houston, Tx. and feeling nothing but love and compassion for them. The love of Jesus is awesome!

 

2 years later I am excelling quickly in Tae Kwon Do, doing good in school, showing my parents a better respect. One day we move into new subdivision and long story short, I meet the wrong crowd. I loose interest in all things good for me. By the time I’m 17 years old, I am drinking, smoking cigarettes, doing drugs and many other things that I am not going to mention. I was heavy into heavy metal music, which helped my downfall with it’s satanic ties. This lifestyle continued on for many years. Satan came at me hard, because I now was a child of God and I fell into the temptation of sin.

In 2001 my middle brother Josh was killed in a car crash while pushing my out of gas truck on the side of the road. I was now a devastated, hurt and confused 24 year old. I knew that I should have drawn closer to God at the time, but I instead drew closer to the club and bar life and everything in between that goes with that lifestyle. I had one foot in the world and one foot in the Lord. I was only fooling myself. ( You cannot serve to masters!)

 

By the end of my 20's I began to slow down some with that lifestyle. In my early 30's God gave me the best earthly blessing, an awesome wife and 3 amazing children, that helped me completely remove my old lifestyle. (That is not to say we don’t have temptations of the former days, because we do.) Jesus is greater than those days!

 

When I was 37, my oldest brother Jason was also killed by an automobile while running across the street. It was his 42nd birthday and it was Thanksgiving day 2015. I cannot tell you the pain I suffered at that time. I could not believe God would allow my family to go through that suffering again. I wanted to die, but God had other plans for me. God not only comforted me but showed me his kingdom and spiritual realm. Believe me when I tell you, “I have been through a lot and I have seen a lot, both in the earthly realm and spiritual realm”.

 

 Me, problems?

Let's just say God had to scrub me clean from several things in my life. It was not overnight either!

 

Jobs, Substance abuse, Alcohol, Stealing, Lying, Betrayal, Cheating, Jail, Mental Abuse, Money Problems,

Relationships, Deaths/Burials, Transportation issues, Anger, Jealousy, Partying, Demonic Music, Ect...

 

 

Sometimes we go through things that we don’t understand, but I know now that God has a plan for me and for you. However, most of life’s situations are not God’s fault, but yours! Everything gives us a choice. We tent to make the wrong choices. The moment you realize that truth, is the moment the restoration process can begin!

 

I have been through a lot, most likely more than most of you who are reading this. So know this one thing, If God can save a sinful, hateful, abusive, ect... wicked man like myself, then without a doubt he can surely save you! Jesus came to for the lost sinner, not the righteous. For it is the sick who need the doctor and Jesus is the ultimate doctor who can fix and all things in your life. Give your life to him and trust in his word and you too can have a life of power and unnatural strength.

 

I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. Mark 5:32

 

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9

 

Believe that Jesus is who he is; the Son of God, sacrificed for the sins of the world and was raised from the dead 3 days later. Confess with your lips through your life that he is Lord over your life and you shall have eternal life. Read and study his word!
